tumi ishi | wooden balancing stones

Gorgeously and carefully handcrafted from a variety of local kiln dried woods (pine, poplar, maple) cut, sanded and polished with rooted + wild. herbal wood cream.  These balancing stones are based on an ancient Japanese game called tumi ishi, which loosely translates to mountain of stones— a game inspired by the philosophy of balance, focus, and mindfulness.  Encouragung and promoting concentration, soft and gentle movement, hand-eye coordination, thinking skills, agility, accuracy, visual perception, logic, and of course inspires creativity. I personally love the natural wood grain but I can paint per custom request.  My children and I find the game very relaxing and peaceful, its a truly great for kids and adults alike in this day and age. Sizes of stones vary from 3” to 5” in unique shapes.  Each set comes in an unbleached cotton drawstring bag for storage.
