Fertilizer Tablets

Each tablet is about the size of a 2 liter bottle cap and slowly releases fertilizer of 2 years. It is generally not advisable to put fertilizer directly into the hole with a bare root tree as the extra nitrogen and phosphorous can burn the roots. Instead, plant these tablets about 1-2' away from the hole so the roots can grow into the nutrients as the tablets slowly dissolve over several seasons. Packs come in 10 and 20 tablets.
