Tincture Making: Preserving Your Medicine
Tinctures, or alcohol extracts, are a popular and convenient way to consume herbs as medicine. They are used to address a variety of ailments, especially acute conditions that require immediate attention and ease of use. This class will demystify tincture making, which is surprisingly simple and straight-forward. It will also explore the history, uses, advantages and disadvantages of liquid extracts and various forms of preparation. Each participant will make a 4oz tincture to take home.
