"Are You Lonesome Tonight?" was recorded by Elvis Presley in 1960 during his first sessions following his service in the U.S. Army. The song was originally recorded in 1927 by Charles Hart and others and was a favorite of the wife Presley's manager Colonel Tom Parker. This 45 record, with the word "Tonight" written as "To-night" and featuring "I Gotta Know" on the B side, would eventually be certified Double Platinum by the RIAA. "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" became a staple of his live shows and certainly a fan favorite. If you are an Elvis fan then you need to have a reminder of his iconic music in your home or office.
