Roy Orbison and Bill Dees co-wrote "Oh, Pretty Woman" or simply "Pretty Woman in 1964. The 45 single with vocals by Orbison and the Candy Men was released in August 1964 and spent three weeks at number one on the charts. It would be the last of Orbison's recordings to make it to the top of the charts. "Oh, Pretty Woman" was later used for the title of the 1990 film "Pretty Woman" starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts and found a new fan base with those who loved the film.
