(Be aware that the weight you order is measured at 28", for every inch over that you will pull an extra 2 pounds) DESIGNED BY THE MAKERS OF THE SAMICK SAGE and SAMICK JOURNEY: The Southwest Archery Spyder XL is a much-improved version of the original Samick Journey; total bow length is 64 inches.  IMPROVEMENTS OVER STANDARD SAGE/JOURNEY: The hard edges of the riser (handle) and limb pockets have been rounded to provide a sleeker, lighter weight, and more comfortable experience; A layer of red wood (found in many high end recurves) has been added to the riser to make it stand out from the crowd at a impressive value; flush limb bolts provide a more streamlined look and feel.
