Likely made around 1850, this smaller figure features hand-applied color accents, typical of Staffordshire’s cottage industry potteries. These decorative dogs were often sold in pairs or as individual mantle pieces, and were rarely marked—crafted instead by regional artisans whose names have been lost to time, but whose work remains highly collectible.
