The Avatar-Vest Pocket Link Holster was developed through a blend of tradition, innovation, and collaboration. The concept draws inspiration from early designs by the late Doug Pineo, whose ingenuity continues to shape the falconry community.The idea of attaching the holster using the Avatar vest’s back pocket snaps came from Dr. Tim Sullivan, who had created a similar solution for his own vest. Working closely with Tim, we refined the design through multiple iterations—ensuring the holster secures the pocket link firmly, prevents accidental drops in the field, and provides the reliable reception falconers depend on.Last season, several falconry colleagues tested the prototype extensively. Their feedback and suggested improvements helped us finalize the design into the holster available today: a trusted, field-proven accessory for the Avatar vest.Important note: Some older Avatar vests may not include the snaps needed to attach the holster.
