Aleppo Inspired Olive and Laurel Oil Handmade Soap

This soap was inspired by the Aleppo soap that originated in Aleppo, Syria. This soap contains only five ingredients, olive oil, laurel oil, water, lye, and bay leaf essential oil. The natural green color is due to the extra virgin organic olive oil used in my recipe and the laurel oil gives it an earthy (rustic) appearance. My recipe contains 70% olive oil and 30% laurel oil.
