Antique Guatemalan Huipil Blouse Hand Woven with Velvet Trim Traditional Top This piece was part of a collection we acquired from an artist in Berkley CA. She spent a lot of her life in South America and had a vast collection of 1940s era hand woven Huipil tops. This is one from that collection. Intricate needlework. Embroidery is strong and colors are stunning. Good vintage condition overall, some expected toning and some scattered stains to natural areas. Stunning piece of historical clothing.
