Supacool - KC401000

Supacool is an internal water cooling device designed to bolt onto the outside of the mold and operate through the vent holes. A compressed air line activates an injector that delivers a fine water mist inside the part during the cooling process. This contacts the plastic wall causing rapid and efficient cooling. As the mist vaporizes to steam, large amounts of heat energy are absorbed dramatically reducing the inside temperature and the subsequent cooling times normally required. Excess steam is then vented back through the unit. This incredibly valuable accessory reduces warping and cycle times significantly. Best of all, Supacool works with all your existing molds bolting easily onto the outside of the mold over an existing vent hole.
