Walnut Moon

Using scraps from previous projects, this wall hanging series has been hand assembled with the moon in mind. Simple moonscapes have been sewn together, with a white backing, hung from oak and cotton thread. Lightweight and ready for a home. Dyes used in this piece are: walnut moon, a weld background, madder/weld/indigo dyed loops and landscape.  14" wide x 18" long, 18" oak hanger  For a long life of the colors in each piece, I recommend hanging out of direct sunlight. Item ships rolled and padded. Items can be gently hand washed in cold water and ironed if it gets dusty or dirty.
