The Pot Extender wraps around the base of Anthuriums so that it's easy to stack medium. This helps roots grow with every new leaf. In our experience, Anthuriums size up faster when new roots have something to grow into. There are notches cut out of the plastic so that petioles have space to grow. The Pot Extenders can be stacked on top of each other. Anchor stakes keep everything secure as the extenders are stacked.
