How long does Restylane® Contour last? Restylane® Contour has been shown to maintain in effect for up to 12 months.   What are the side effects of Restylane® Contour? In the study of Restylane® Contour to restore volume of the midface and increase fullness of the cheeks, most patients reported the following side effects at the site where they received the injection: swelling, lumps/bump formation, redness, pain/tenderness, bruising, itching. For most patients, these temporary reactions occurred immediately up to two days after the injection, were mild, and disappeared within 1-2 weeks.
