Depending on the amount of direct sunlight and rain, designer mulches typically hold their color for up to one year. This mulch does a great job ridding your garden of weeds. Deep dark brown mulch is predominantly a shredded hardwood forest byproduct and is dyed with EPA-approved colorant. Fiber Length: 1" – 3" It is not recommended to spread this material when inclement weather is in the forecast.
