The Tokuma group consists of smallholder farmers who are pushing the boundaries of both traceability and control of their production. We’re really excited to be working with these cutting edge producers. Tayebo’s coffee is a classic Agaro profile with candied citrus, bergamot, peach, and rosey florals.  In the context of the history of Ethiopian coffee, which has largely been sold through the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange, the idea of being able to have single producer lots is still a fairly new concept. Individually held export licenses have provided greater agency for producers to market and sell their own coffee, while improving the traceability of Ethiopian coffees.
