Wicho is a testament to the potential of success for regenerative agriculture in specialty coffee. It's even more impressive that he's doing so at scale with a farm now spanning over 70 hectares. Wicho uses coffee pulp and worm-cultured soil as fertilizer and consistently sends samples of soil and foilage to labs to better understand the health of his trees. Coffee production in general is highly reliant on expensive chemical fertilizers, fungicides, pesticides, etc and we believe that pursuing organic or regenerative practices is a great way for producers to boost the health of their farms and have more autonomy over their production.
