There's a broad range of flavor profiles depending on how and where the coffees are produced. Across the board though, we often find coffees from Peru to be simultaneously subtle, but complex and dynamic. They're not always in your face with super intense or concentrated flavors, but if you pay close attention, they have so much to offer. This community lot from the Junin region is a perfect example. It's flavors shift and change as you drink it, but we always find a range of jammy red and purple fruits with a deep brown sugary base. Before this year, we had never tasted coffees from the Junin region of Peru, but this lot, along with the Oropel community lot, have really opened our eyes to the cup profiles that are possible here.
