Henry Chavet was a chess piece manufacturer who made chess pieces for professional use for consumers in North America and Europe. Our chess pieces are a reproduction of one of the variants of Chavet Chess used in chess championships in the 1980s to 90s. This design was particularly appreciated by chess players for its simplistic design and clean lines. It has no sharp protruding points making them a pleasure to hold and play with.
