Hero Customs is a company that specializes in upgrading and retrofitting military HMMWV's for civilian use. Here is one of the owner's favorite trucks up for sale. This Humvee appeared in a TV show while it was still in it's military colors. Aired in 2018 on American Metal reality TV show. It first went to Sedona AZ on a ride to Devil's stairway. Then it went to Calico CA. and made it up Wall Street Canyon in one try. Followed up with pulling a Jeep up the same canyon. So this Humvee has a little history. When we take possession of a military unit we first go through the drivetrain. We have former military mechanics on staff that know how to rebuild the portal boxes, brake system, fan clutch system, and all the other parts that are prone to failure on these units. We then fabricate in a precision metal shop the top, doors, windows, structural "C" pillar, seat bases, etc etc etc ......... and in the end create one of these amazing machines.
