RPS carries two options to retrofit a windmill well, the first is our RPS 200, RPS 400 and RPS 800 3" Submersible Pumps that fit a 3.5" or larger well-casing. The second option is the now famous Narrow pump series RPS 200N, RPS 400N and RPS 800N  measuring a miraculous 2.01" in diameter and the first of its kind. The narrow series fits 2.5" casings that are so common in old windmills. And yes, it can also sneak in next to an existing pump/drop-pipe in a 6" well casing to act as a backup redundant pump, or if a pump is stuck down in the well.
