It is much stronger than aluminum and costs way less than Titanium.Corrosion, rust and seizing worries are eliminated by using stainless steel.   Many people use Loctite or some other screw glue on their threads, but we do not care for this approach. If there is oil or grease in the threads, glue products do not hold very well.If the threads are clean and dry, sometimes the glue holds too good and you will have a difficult time un-screwing bolts. We like old-fashioned washers, especially the internal star washer type. A set of those is included with this kit.
