Janie Korn for Ruby: Shmurdle Lights

During the great Rubyverse siege of e72SIGMA-fi, the magic used to illuminate homes and plumb the depths of unsugared water was shut off (you might think of this as electricity) by the great vanquisher of planet known as sugar. The great candle artisans from APKALLU shared their arts with this planet to make sure the world was lit, while the GRIMBLES were hard at work providing bottles of Ruby to the Shmurdle community. Janie Korn is a New York-based visual artist, curator, and content producer. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Vogue, among others and worked with brands like United Masters, SSENSE, and the Brooklyn Museum. Janie designed a series of candles based on characters and objects from the Rubyverse, originally for our artist collaboration series For .FUN. Each piece is unique and made to order.
