Artisan Sterling Silver Leland Blue, Dumortierite, Moonstone Necklace, Space Galaxy Stars Moons Cabochon Power Wicca Pagan Art Statement
When I saw this triangular cabochon of Leland Blue (a stone found only in Lake Michigan - not actually a stone, but a byproduct of processes from the early 1900s - see below), all I could see was the Universe, the Galaxy, the Milky Way. So, I set it in sterling silver, then decorated with some bronze stars, and sawn into the reverse side of the stone are some rustic stars as well. Above, a moon of sterling is suspended in a laying position. I found some gorgeous white/blue flash moonstone moons - so rare! and attached on either side. Decorating the chain are spheres of Dumortierite, and the closure is hand-forged hook and ring. Very classy! And certainly will gather comments and compliments. Perfect gift - have something no one else will! An Art jewelry piece that is also quite wearable and made to last for generations. The combination of stones and metals here is very powerful.
