This Collings 2006 I-35 in cherry flame finish pairs a mahogany back and sides with a maple center block for a tonal response that is complex and quick with an “airy” character. The I-35’s top carve includes high arches and ample re-curve, allowing the best qualities of the solid wood to shine through in its amplified tone. Featuring a 15″ lower bout, 1 5/8″ This one comes from the first batch made in 2006 (#30). Meticulously kept it plays well with a nice low action.
