Vintage Kerman Area Rug (9' x 12')

Dimensions: 9'8" x 12'8" (295 cm x 386 cm). Colors: brown, dark gray, dim gray, gray, light gray, light slate gray, off-white, pink, red, slate gray. Kerman is a city and province located in south east Iran. They have been making rugs there since the Safavid period. Major production began in the late nineteenth century with most Kerman rugs being exported to America. They have floral patterns and more often with a central medallion.
