Antique Kars Runner Rug (3' x 12')

Dimensions: 3'2" x 12'0" (97 cm x 366 cm). Circa: 1940. Colors: brown, gainsboro, gray, light gray, off-white, pink, snow, white, whitesmoke. Kars is the provincial capital in the far northeastern part of Turkey formerly under Russian control. They have a strong Caucasian influence in design giving a primitive look. The use of natural dyes and undyed natural wool gives them a contemporary elegance suitable for both casual and country decors.
