Contour-Lock

Contour-Lock is a 1/8’’-thick felt and rubber rug pad that offers a strong grip with moderate levels of cushioning without bulking. Contour-Lock’s solid design protects floors from scratching and rug backings, which also makes it an ideal mate for rugs with rough backings; it’s particularly well-suited to flat-woven rugs such as Kilims, Dhurries, and Soumaks. Contour-Lock’s felt is heat-pressed to a 1/8”-thick density and securely fasten to the bottom of your area rug. Our backing is made from a natural rubber blend which contains less clay filler to prevent premature degradation of pads in high-traffic areas. (Synthetic latex, aka styrene-butadiene, often is blended with less expensive clay fillers that cause the rubber to break down more quickly.)
