This is a finely Hand Knotted Persian Kerman. It has a natural pile of Wool fibers, on a cotton foundation. A beautiful Traditional Kerman design in an Medallion pattern. The very fine weave and contrasting colors make this a bold, intricate piece. Woven in Iran, the dominant colors are Black and Watermelon with hints of green.
