She is an artist who moves between painting, collage and process based photography. Her works have been displayed in galleries throughout New York City and the United States, including Sears Peyton, Morgan Lehman, and Von Lintel galleries. Small was an assistant to the painter Terry Winters for ten years and also works as a nurse at Grace Church School in New York. She lives and works in Manhattan and Long Island NY.
