The Chukka platform is an ideal starting point for a shoe meant for outdoor use as it is plenty tall to keep dust and leaves out of your socks, but still short enough to make lacing a breeze. It laces quickly and securely due to the four antique brass eyelets. The addition of a Molded Sole adds side-to side stability and has the benefit of making the bottom of the shoe more water-resistant.
