In a truly unique meeting of the minds, EarthQuaker Devices has gone around the world to collaborate with one of Japan's leading guitarists in the experimental rock genre. Wata, guitarist of the band Boris, has lent her hand in recreating one of her standby fuzz pedals, the Elk BM Sustainer. This pedal, reminiscent of a Triangle Big Muff, has been a key element in the band's sound, and today, Wata and EQD present an official recreated replica, the Hizumitas Fuzz. This one-of-a-kind fuzz pedal produces unique Big Muff-esque tones with plenty of sonic character and interactive playability. Far from your traditional Big Muff sound, the Hizumitas features a streamlined yet unconventional control setup to jump into the sounds of Wata's crushing guitar tones.
