Combining such a soft color with the Custom Shop’s Relic finish treatment, this P Bass materializes with a well-loved and worn-in aesthetic, bearing scrapes and chips across the iconic double-cutaway profile. This Precision Bass encapsulates so much of what makes the world of Fender Custom Shop such a thrill for players of all types. This Fender Custom Shop ’58 Precision Bass Relic begins with a two-piece Custom Shop 22” bass alder body. Imparting the solid and sturdy feel in hand associated with the P Bass, the feel of this bass in hand is effortlessly authentic. This cut of alder can be seen up close and personally thanks to the Custom Shop’s Relic finish treatment, exposing some of the wood’s natural grain through tasteful chips and scrapes across the aged lacquer finish.
