All-mahogany Martins are noted for their warmth and earthy tonal qualities. The bridge and fingerboard of the 000-15M Streetmaster are made of Katalox, a dense Central-American hardwood. It is listed in many USDA publications as a suitable substitute for African Ebony and is one of the strongest woods available in the world.
