Martin Custom Shop D Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, 28-Style, Sitka Spruce Bearclaw/Quilted Mahogany

As Martin Custom Expert dealers, Russo Music has had the pleasure of visiting the Martin factory to spec out our own custom guitars, one of them being this stunning Martin Custom Shop D Dreadnought with 28-Style appointments, a Sitka spruce bearclaw top, and a quilted mahogany back and sides.  Initially developed in 1916 and reappearing with a new design in 1931, Martin created the wildly popular Dreadnought body style that has remained a staple int he acoustic guitar world for decades. The “28-Style” designation references the iconic Martin D-28, while this specific model boasts a handful of custom specs picked out by Russo Music employees.  The body of this 28-Style Dreadnought is comprised of hand-selected Sitka spruce with bearclaw figuring for its top, and quilted mahogany for its back and sides.
