Finishing out Taylor Guitars' 2024 and fiftieth anniversary as a company, the Taylor Legacy Collection 810e is one heck of a closing act. This piece from the Taylor Legacy Collection commemorates Taylor's fifty years of fine acoustic guitars, with production personally overseen by Bob Taylor himself. The Taylor Legacy Collection 810e was fashioned in pursuit of capturing the essence of Bob Taylor's earliest designs. While this 800 Series does not exactly replicate the design and construction of Taylor's '70s originals, it is built in tribute to the standards that got the company off the ground. Along with its Legacy Collection brethren, the Legacy 810e is subtly reimagined and features aesthetic refinements and performance enhancements to balance Taylor standards both old and new. This 800 Series dreadnought starts out simply with a Sitka spruce top, like many Taylors to come since the company's initial founding.
