Rust Doctor is a premium water based rust converter that changes the red iron oxide called "rust" to a non-rusting black iron oxide called magnetite. In addition, as part of the rust conversion, a latex primer is left on the magnetite surface. The primer will accept virtually all types and colors of paint. Rust Doctor is safe to use as it is non-toxic and non flammable. Rust Doctor can be sprayed or brushed. The gallon of Rust Doctor will cover 200 square feet of rust metal with one coat.
