Craftsman Cast Iron Dining Table - Adjustable Base - Rustic Ebony

Our Craftsman's muscular cast-iron base provides a strong foundation for this handcrafted, adjustable-height industrial dining table. The top moves smoothly through a range of 30 to 41 inches - dining to pub height - via a hand crank that we've introduced into the design. The heavy solid reclaimed hardwood distressed top, 2.25 inches thick, has a richly-grained distressed surface with a beautiful ebony finish. Dimensions (inches): 80W x 40D x 30-41H. Top: 2.25H. Awhile back, we came across a vintage Chandler & Price printing press and were inspired by its heavy iron base and wonderful history. In 1881, the Chandler & Price Co. started manufacturing printing-related machinery in Cleveland, Ohio. They dominated that industry until the 1950’s. The “Craftsman” was one of their finest models, and we decided to design a table base that matched the Craftsman’s sturdy and athletic appearance.
