Barred In The Foggy Bog

On this particular morning it was extremely foggy and I considered staying in, however I really like photographing in inclement weather so off I went. About an hour into my “hunt” I flushed this Barred owl off of a fresh kill and it landed nearby in this dead tree. I positioned the camera in a manner that avoided capturing any distracting trees or branches in the frame. The fog blocked all other distractions and I ended up with the clean white background that you see.
