Eagles Of Shiloh

This pair of Bald Eagles are residents of Shiloh National Military Park and were perched near an overlook of the Tennessee River for this photograph. The overlook is very near the location of the oak tree where Ulysses S Grant ascended the Tennessee River by steamboat, disembarking his Army of the Tennessee and established his base of operations for the Battle of Shiloh during the civil war.
