  Miriam Nelson & Rusty Frank's "The Lark Leaped In"An Intermediate Tap RoutineTaught by Rusty Frank & Mark Marchillo Back in the 1990s, Rusty Frank and Miriam Nelson got together regularly in a Los Angeles studio and tap danced.  During this time they collaborated on material, and what we have here began with Rusty bringing in a step from her mentor, Louis DaPron, and a tune by Raymond Scott, “The Lark Leaped In”  and ended with this delightful collaboration... a vintage style tap routine for intermediate level tap dancers on up.   Rusty Frank is a Tap Dancer, producer, choreographer, writer, and dance preservationist. She is the author of the critically acclaimed book “TAP! The Greatest Tap Dance Stars and Their Stories 1900-1955,” the producer and choreographer of the stage revues "Swingin' The Century - The Big Band Show" and "Jazz Tap."   She has taught and performed in twenty-three countries around the world and performed at such locales as Broadway's 42nd Street, The Ho
