All of the swords in the series feature a forged, through-hardened 9260 spring steel blade that has excellent flexibility characteristics yet great edge retention on soft targets. Each model has a unique Tsuba guard, made from blackened iron. The handles are tightly wrapped, with authentic ray skin and iron furniture, double-pinned Mekugi, and smooth transitions and knots. The slim Saya are black Ishime textured and finished with buffalo horn Koiguchi, Kurikata, and Kojiri. Great to wear as a Daisho!
