The Furui Shishi Sanmai Katana is hand forged in the tradition sanmai , triple steel , technique. The blade is forged with a hard high carbon steel core sandwiched between a softer steel that is hand folded with 1024 layer. The Thaitsuki sanmai forged swords are among the upper echelon of Samurai swords for the discriminating sword collector.  Silver fittings with a brown silk over rayskin wrapped tsuka round out this stunning katana.
