Heuer Silverstone Fume ref.110.313 de 1974
In regards to the classic design of the 1970s, few watches are better examples of that era's look than the Heuer Silverstone. Released in 1974, the Silverstone was available with a selection of three dial colors: red, fume "smoke," and blue. The Silverstone was launched as a replacement for the Heuer Monaco, which today may be an icon of TAG Heuer, but in the mid-1970s, it had proven to be a clear commercial failure. So Heuer reinterpreted the design to give it a second wind, softening the lines of the case and seeking the name of another famous Formula 1 racing track, the Silverstone Circuit, a racetrack located in England. The Heuer Silverstone was used by several Formula 1 drivers in championships and races, including Clay Regazzoni, and it was also the choice for the character of Niki Lauda in the movie "Rush" played by Daniel Brühl.
