IWC Porsche Design Ocean 500 ref.3523 from 1990s
Porsche Design is a company led by Ferdinand Porsche, son of the founder of Porsche automobiles who designed and produced the Porsche 911 in 1963, possibly one of the most iconic cars in history. Almost 10 years later, in 1972, Ferdinand left the family business to found Porsche Design Studio to first partner with IWC in watch production and later with Eterna, undoubtedly a watch with a unique design language that takes its attributes from the IWC Porsche Design Ocean 2000 BUND ref.3314, which was a watch designed for the German underwater special forces "Kampfschwimmer" in 1982. This is probably one of the only 35mm dive watches ive found that look well proportioned on the wrist, such an underrated and cool model. Well-Made, well designed and extremely confortable and sturdy.
