Omega Chronometer ref.2364 con cal.30T2rg de 1944

The 30T2RG is one of the most famous chronometer calibers ever made. This mechanism was a finer version of the 30mm manual winding movement that Omega had launched in the late 1930s. Very quickly, its precision and reliability made it an ideal candidate for chronometer-certified watches produced from 1941 onwards. Its dimensions were also an important feature, as the caliber's diameter was just the right size to compete in wristwatch chronometer competitions, rather than a pocket watch caliber. Omega introduced several watches throughout the 1940s with a strong focus on the finishing of the internal caliber (either with a small or central seconds hand). The Omega Chronometer reference 2364-3 is therefore an important piece in the history of watchmaking.
