Thulium metal ingot - one troy ounce - .995 bullion   Discovered by the Swedish chemist Per Theodor Cleve in 1879 at about the same time he was credited with discovering holmium, thulium is the second most rare of the rare earth elements behind promethium. As promethium is radioactive and will not be one of our products, thulium is the rarest of our rare earth series. Despite it's rarity and cost, there are important industrial uses of thulium in solid state lasers and x-ray machines. Inscribed on our ingots are the chemical symbol (Tm), purity (99.5%), weight (one troy ounce), and a serial number (this number is unique and will vary).  On the reverse is our logo. These ingots are lightly polished, similar to the one pictured. There can be tiny edge dings, light surface scratches, occasionally a shallow cutter groove on the edge of several of these ingots, and other small imperfections which do not detract from the inherent value of this rare metal. Though not among the more oxidation
