"High Country Hatch" Jumping Brook Trout Canvas Art Print

Featured on the cover of the all-new Field & Stream journal, this scene is my own take on one of their classic old-school fly-fishing covers. Brook trout are native to the Appalachian mountains surrounding my studio, and a popular species to fish for in the High Country. This brook trout is rising on a fresh hatch, oblivious to the fisherman upstream that has just rounded the bend and locked onto his next target.  It was an honor to be chosen to paint such an image and collaborate with their talented crew of editors, designers and storytellers.
