Convertible-Collar Shirt

Cut from a Japanese cotton double cloth, this shirt is perfect for summer days given its airiness and excellent hand that retains a subtle structure. We constructed this shirt with a 3-ply collar that provides stiffness without relying on fusible interfacings that can cause unsightly bubbling and wrinkling as the fusible interfacing's glue deteriorates over time. We dipped the shirt in an indigo vat a few times to obtain a medium shade of blue with understated variegations.
