Convertible-Collar Shirt

Cut from a Japanese cotton double cloth, this shirt is perfect for summer days given its airiness and excellent hand that retains a subtle structure. We constructed this shirt with a 3-ply collar that provides stiffness without relying on fusible interfacings that can cause unsightly bubbling and wrinkling as the fusible interfacing's glue deteriorates over time. We used a strong madder bath to obtain a classic madder red with orange undertones.
